It was in the late '90s when Jules first felt the magnetic pull of soul music through his local mod scene. What started as a wide-ranging appreciation for different sounds soon crystallised into a deep passion for soul music in all its forms.
As founder of the Barsoulona Soul Club and later co-organiser of the iconic Movin'On club, Jules has been instrumental in keeping soul music alive across the city. His record box has made its way from clubs to weekenders across Europe - through Sweden, Germany, England, Ireland, Italy, France and Portugal.
For twenty years, Jules has been sharing his carefully curated collection with audiences across the continent, establishing himself as one of Europe's most respected soul collectors. His sets are a testament to decades of record collecting and an unwavering dedication to the soul scene.
